We had the opportunity to go to the Shrine Circus last night because a co-worker gave me free tickets yesterday. Lauren stayed with Les & Nicole and Hayden and I had a fun night out. He had never been to a circus before, so it was interesting to watch him. He was very concerned about where the clowns were. There were only two clowns and I think that disappointed him because he expected them to be selling the snacks and the toys and to be handing out programs, and anything else that a circus worker did. I guess he thought the circus was primarily run by clowns. I was sad to tell him it was Russians and Mexicans staffing the circus, not clowns.
