Yesterday, the Schnick family ventured to the beach in Michigan City. We live so close to Lake Michigan and have rarely spent time there. We have been once with Hayden and he hated the feeling of the sand. So, we haven't been back since. This summer, he has been playing in the sandbox a lot. I thought maybe it was time to try the beach again. It was such a beautiful day and we didn't have any plans. So, off to the beach we went! What a success it was. Hayden LOVED playing on the sand and even ended up in the water. Lauren enjoyed watching the water and just hung out like she always does. We all had a great time.

What a fun day! Lake Michigan is so fun because it is fresh water! No salt in the eyes or up the nose. ;)

hey, we were at the Lake too...but it was a bit cold and windy the day we went! And we didn't get flooded out by the way!
