Get Away

Our family took a little trip to Indy this week to stay at an (overpriced) indoor water park and visit the Children's Museum. Although we (the adults) weren't impressed with the hotel facilities or water park, the kids still had a very good time. We spent a few hours in the water park and were joined by our friend Brian. He has recently moved back to Indy from California and we haven't seen him in quite a while. It was great to get to visit with him. After the water park, we all went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (I had a chicken & mushroom pizza and Brian got Thai Lettuce Wraps for dinner. For dessert, I got the apple crisp and Brian split the 30th Anniversary Cheesecake with Brian...and he finished my dessert). We also spent a little time looking at the Fashion Mall at Keystone. The next day we ventured to the Children's Museum. We spent about 5 hours there. It was very nice and the kids really enjoyed it.

Taking a mandatory break while the water is checked.

Breakfast at Cracker Barrel, the boy and his dad.

Working a dinosaur puzzle...

Our completed puzzle!

Checking out the fossils.
Playing in an Egyptian tent in the "Market"

Weighing his produce in the Egyptian market.

I love the pic of them asleep! So cute! It looks like you had great family time. Oh, and the cinnamon rolls in the other post look good too!! The carousel is fun. We take Zane to the one in Glenbrook. He cries when he has to get off of it. Keep making great memories! :)
