We just returned from our vacation to the Dream Weaver cabin in Sevierville, TN. Talk about beautiful! We didn't see any better views anywhere else on our trip than those we saw out our cabin windows. We were spoiled! We went to Pigeon Forge to shop at the outlet mall and eat at various restraunts. We also went to Gatlinburg to visit the Smoky Mountain National Park and the Ripley's Aquarium. We returned the next day just to walk the cute streets of Gatlinburg. Brian and Les rode their motorcycles down and Nicole and I drove the kids in a rented minivan. I must say that our kids were fabulous! The girls slept a ton and didn't fuss until we were about ten minutes away from the cabin rental office and about ten minutes away from home. Hayden was pretty well behaved also. Brian and Les took a special drive on their own to experience the "Tail of the Dragon" at Deals Gap, NC. It has 318 switchback turns in 11 miles. They drove it twice (there and back). However, they agreed that the road to get up to our cabin was much more challenging. It was crazy steep with some switchback curves that were unbelievably sharp...even the van struggled a bit. Wouldn't you know that the day before we left, they decided to chip and seal the road. So the drive down when we left was full of loose gravel. All in all, we had a very nice family vacation in a very beautiful part of our country. Check our our pictures...

How fun! Joe and I did a cabin down there two years ago. Was that the Riply's Aquarium in Gatlinburg? We went there and really liked it. Glad the kids were so good! Bet that made a great vacation even better. :)
