May so far...

I have been absent from the blog for a little while. Life has continued on and I have not taken the time to update. So here goes...
I graduated from Ball State on May 8, 2009. I took the day off on Friday and we ventured to Muncie. We checked in to the Holiday Inn Express at Gas City and then headed to Molly & Chris' house in Yorktown. It has been such a long time since we have seen them and it was great to take the chance to visit with them. They have three little ones. Hayden & Lauren enjoyed playing with them while we chatted and played Wii. It was great to see them, but not nearly long enough. I didn't take any pictures, but Molly did. Check out her post to see our night. On Saturday, we attended graduation. There were two ceremonies, both outside in the Quad. It was a very windy day and pretty chilly when the sun was behind the clouds. It was nice to celebrate the 3 1/2 years of work I'd put into my Masters degree though.

The Schnick family ventured into new territory last week as well...brussel sprouts! I have always thought they were gross, but the kids at school told me they really liked them. I thought it was worth a try. We ate them for dinner and we all actually liked them. I couldn't believe it and had to get it on camera for proof!

Lauren is walking very well these days. She walks across the room before sitting down. It's cute to see her enjoying the world around her. Of course, now she gets in to so much more. We are finishing up the school year. Hayden only has two more sessions of preschool left this week and then graduation is on Thursday. I can't believe that the school year has flown by so quickly. I hope that you all have a great weekend!
