Ever since Brian was a little boy, he can remember his dad working hard to make the lawn something to be proud of. His theory was if you don't mow straight lines, then it isn't worth mowing. As Brian grew up, he got practice at taking care of the grass too. I have heard him talk about making patterns with the mowing lines by laying out the hose. Anyway, since we have moved in to our home, Brian has strived to make his dad proud of this legacy he passed on. Brian has put a lot of time and energy in to his lawn. This year it is just beautiful and he often says that "Dad would be proud." Tonight I made him go lay in the shag that is our grass. I told him to pose with his masterpiece. So here is our beautiful grass that Eugene Schnick would be proud of if he were with us today...

yep, Eugene would be proud, that is some sweet grass...ours is pathetic...maybe more weeds than actual grass, oh, well!
