A Year in Photos

OK, I've been tagged by my friend Molly! She issued a very fun challenge that came from one of her friends. So...

Here are six of my favorites. I couldn't choose just 5 (and could find many more still)....


I love this picture for an obvious reason. Hayden is looking so lovingly at his new baby sister. It captures what our whole family was feeling with the addition of Lauren. What a blessing she is.


This picture is special to me because Lauren's big eyes are looking at us in such a trusting way. She has an expressive face now that she is older. Her eyes speak volumes to us.


What daddy wouldn't love and protect his child to the ends of the Earth? This picture shows that tenderness that Brian has for Hayden. My boys are so sweet.


This was taken in the Smokey Mountain National Park while we are on vacation this summer. Brian and I enjoyed the trip much more than we thought we would.


We must be suckers for big eyes. When I asked Brian which picture was his favorite of the year, this one of Hayden was his choice. He just looks so innocent...which is very unusual for him lately. I guess we hope to see this face again soon!


Finally, my kids can play together! This was the first time they sat together and played with something purposefully. It's a joy to watch them enjoy one another.
