It's the simple things...

Yep, the simple things make me happy. Brian doesn't get it. If you're a mom and have some experience with strollers, you'll know that the big ones are more comfy for the kids but difficult to navigate in crowds and tight spaces. As those kids grow, it's nice to downsize to a lighter weight stroller. I, like many others, thought we'd get an inexpensive umbrella stroller to do the job. It seemed fine in the store, but once we put it to the road test, it felt like we were pushing a baby doll stroller. My mom found a taller umbrella stroller at a garage sale and we used that last year. Brian thinks these cheap strollers work just fine and we don't need a million strollers. With our Disney trip coming up and Lauren's birthday, mom asked what I wanted for her. I first suggested some accessories to make the umbrella stroller work better for us (an umbrella for shade and an organzier). With a little more thought, I decided that we might as well put that money to better use and buy a good, sturdy, and reliable stroller that will last through Lauren's growing years. So, I researched umbrella strollers online and on http://www.disboards.com/. Among the top and the least expensive was the Maclaren Volo. Many people said that it has lasted through multiple children and vacations. It was at Babies R Us and Target...although Target had the better price by about $20. We got it yesterday and I think that it is awesome! I'm excited to use it in 14 days!!!

Thanks Nana!!! We (as in 'we' I really mean 'I') love it!

Funny what we get excited about now days, isn't it? Plus, we're usually the one pushing it, so who cares what the boys like, anyway :)
Still up for Saturday? We're sick as dogs here, but we're heading to the Dr. this afternoon hopefully for some antibiotics. Fabulous.
