Off we go...

We are in the process of getting ready to depart for Midway Airport. We leave for Florida at 3:45 this afternoon. With all of the people, bags, strollers, etc... to take, we thought that leaving earlier would be better. At the moment, Mom & I am showered and ready, Brian is in the shower, Lauren is napping, and Hayden is playing guns in the basement. It is the calm before the storm. I just need to zip up my bag, finish packing the carry-on, and we are ready to go. I always like this anticipation that comes just before you leave for any kind of trip. We didn't go on our cruise this year, so it has been since June that we have been on a vacation. That may not sound bad to some of you who haven't traveled in some time, but we tend to do about two trips a year. It helps us stay sane in the reality that we live! We have been checking the weather forcast in Orlando over and over. It doesn't change much each time; it's like we don't believe that it is going to be warm the whole time. However, it keeps saying that it will be in the 80's the whole time with lots of sunshine. Just thinking about that makes my insides all wiggly & jiggly, as Hayden would say. I am hoping that we all have a good time and that we make memories that would last forever! I guess I should get going and finish packing. Hayden has now emerged from the basement and is wound up, of course. I hope that you all have a good week. I'll be posting pictures soon!
