Wow...where have I been? It seems that time has sort of flown by lately. Although if you were to ask me what we've been up to, I'd have to think hard. My birthday was last Friday. My friends, Nicole & Shelley, took me out to dinner at Kelsey's Steakhouse. It was yummy...prime rib, a good glass of wine, and time with friends was a nice way to celebrate my day. Since then, work has been occupying my time. The kids are doing well. Hayden seems to be making strides each week with his behavior. He is maturing and making better choices. (**Now watch, since I said this, he'll be awful this week!) We decided that Hayden will be going to kindergarten at South Central with me next year. I had kindergarten registration on Tuesday and I signed him up. I also made a request for full-day kindergarten (which shouldn't be a problem getting). He is doing great at preschool. His behavior there has improved as well, except for talking too much...I think that is part of his genetics. :) Below is a video of him telling us a spooky story at dinner the other night...

Lauren is starting to take more of an interest in getting around in an upright manner. She still is not sure about standing or walking yet. She tends to want to sit down right away. However, I got her to start trying her walker. She was timid, but enjoyed it. Here is a quick video of her at work...

We are counting down the days until our Disney trip on March 23rd. We'll be traveling for 8 days and 7 nights. Hayden is very excited. Nana (my mom) is going with us also. She needs some relaxation as much as we do...not that Disney at Spring Break will be relaxing, but it is an escape from reality! I, of course, have my lists started and have washed and set aside all the kids clothes. I have all of our advanced dining reservations made. We are having one sit down meal a day. I also have planned out which park we're visiting each day. We'll have a day off from the parks on Friday and we will be sharing that day with his mom and sister's family. We haven't seen them in quite some time and Lisa's family hasn't ever met Lauren. It will be nice to share some time together.

Okay, the treadmill is calling and I have been failing at my running goal. Why does life always get in my way of getting healthy? Someday.
