Happy Easter everyone! We hope that you had a blessed day today! We've had a nice day so far. We started the day off with Hayden searching the house for his Easter baskets and eggs. He had a lot of fun running all over in search of his treats. We went to church and they had a beautiful service with great music... there were 3 trumpet players! Then we had a very traditional Easter meal at the Chinese buffet! :) That was my idea. We went right when they opened and had hot, fresh, yummy food that I didn't have to cook! Who ever said that ham and turkey was required on Easter?
In other news... Brian's mom is staying with us right now. She sold her house in LaPorte and closed on it on March 14. She will be here until the beginning of April. She bought a home in Florida and will be living there permanently. This trip was the first time she has seen Lauren. She waited to come until now so she could spend more time with her before she goes back. She misses her friends in Florida, but is enjoying the grandbabies.
Lauren is continuing to grow and develop perfectly. She is up more during the day now and is not always happy about that...in fact I hear her crying right now. This tests her daddy's patience every now and then. ;) She found her thumb the other day and enjoyed that, but hasn't been able to find it again. She is also starting to coo and is smiling every now and then.

That is so sweet...I bet she'll be a thumb sucker...I have a picture of Emma that looks almost exactly like that of her in her swing with that thumb! Carter is the same way, he is done with the pacifier although he used it quite a bit more than either of the girls did!
Glad Grandma got to see Lauren finally! HOpe you can enjoy her being there and get some relaxation maybe!!!
We're off to Florida in the morning so talk soon1
That pic of Lauren with her thumb in her mouth looks like a strange Michael Jackson interpretive dance... just my take on it..
